I invite the viewers to consider some of the challenging environmental and social issues of our time. By working in “traditionally feminine” craft, such as embroidery and textile arts which encapsulates many meditative hours, I hope to provide unhurried space that allows for reflections on and the digestion of these pressing issues. Ultimately, I hope that my work empowers viewers to advocate for change.
